Badger Pass is the original California Ski area, located just a
few miles from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park on Glacier
Point Road. Badger Pass is an ideal place for families to learn to ski
and have fun in the snow as 85% of the slopes at Badger Pass are devoted
to beginner and intermediate skiers.

Activities at Badger
Pass
In addition to the skiing and snow shoeing trails, Badger
Pass offers several guided snowshow walks. These walks last
approximately two hours and are offered several days each week
throughout the season. Snow shoe walks leave from the Badger Pass Ranger
Station. There is no rental fee for these walks, but there is a
suggested $3 maintenance fee.
Fullmoon snow shoe walks also leave
from Badger Pass ski area. This walk is a moderate walk, over two hours
a distance of 2 – 2.5 miles will be covered. Check
