Description
Get ready for a classic Big Sur adventure -
exploring misty redwoods filled canyons, waterfalls, rocky beaches
and several intriguing historic sites, all in the span of one day.
You will be picked up from your hotel after
breakfast and driven up Pacific Coast Highway to Big Sur. At Julia
Pfeiffer-Burns State Park you will take several short hikes;
visiting a secluded rocky beach, several historic structures and a
waterfall plunging to the sands below. Amongst these wonders your
guide will relate stories behind the scenes and layout a gourmet
picnic lunch in a shady redwood lined canyon. Later in the afternoon
visit Limekiln State Park, where delightful trails meander among
redwoods, misty waterfalls and historic kilns. After all that, it's
back to the Hotel.

How difficult is the terrain?
You will hike four to five miles over
moderately easy trails. There is one steeper descent and climb for
1/4 mile each way.
What is the total tour time?
Six to eight hours including drive time and
lunch.
What is the total hike time?
Three to four hours split among several short
hike.
When is the Big Sur Hike available?
This is an all year round activity.
