Description
Learn to be
a sculptor.
The Rhythms of Stone Workshop is designed to
establish a basic understanding of the stone carving process.
Students will be guided through the process of creating their own
unique sculpture with a hands-on approach, which utilizes the human
face as a template to guide students through the use of various hand
tools, techniques and procedures related to the art of stone
carving.

The format of the workshop is to carve the human face in stone and
each student will create an original garden sculpture based on their
creative collaboration with DJ Garrity.

will weigh between 35-45 lbs. Students will not be required to lift
the stones.
What do I need to bring with me for the
workshop?

comfortable wearing and that
accommodate their prescription eyewear requirements. A hat and
sunscreen, as the works-in-progress are often placed in natural
