Cottage Grove Scenic Murals

Cottage Grove is home to 21 beautiful murals around town including Buster Keaton "The General" mural honoring the film which was filmed in Cottage Grove in 1926.

Covered Bridge Tour

Drive at your own pace and see seven covered bridges in the Cottage Grove area. One is currently under "reconstruction." The Chambers Railroad Bridge is the oldest railroad bridge west of the Mississippi.

14 Mile Paved Row River Trail

This 14 mile paved bike, walking or running trail winds around Dorena Lake. Many restrooms and picnic spots along the way. This trail was an old railroad train track and the movie "Stand By Me" was filmed on this exact trail years ago!
